SOCIAL ETHICS AND THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION IN PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS IN LUANDA
Main Article Content
Abstract
This reflection examines the role of social ethics in combating corruption within organizations in Angola. Its aim is to analyze the causes behind corruption in both public and private institutions and to propose strategies to address this challenge. The work is divided into three sections. The first explores key concepts such as social ethics, social organization, corruption, good life, morality, conscience, and moral responsibility. The second focuses on specific aspects of corruption in Angolan organizations, particularly within public administration. The third presents ethical proposals to fight corruption, building on the previous analysis and offering practical responses. These proposals, framed as ethical and moral principles, emphasize actions and values to be embraced by political authorities, public administration, and the judiciary, with the ultimate goal of achieving a just society and a good life free from the scourge of corruption.
